This story is a sequel of Who Killed Nadal? so read that story first if you haven't read that. Now enjoy the part 4 of it :)
A few days before meeting him, Alex and Emma went out to grab some coffee. On their way to the coffee shop, she told Alex that she liked him, and to her surprise, Alex also liked her and said, “I like you too, Emma.” As they reached the coffee shop, Alex saw the same Lamborghini parked near the café but kept it unnoticed. However, Emma, after watching the car, acted a bit weird as she said, “Let’s go to another café.”
Alex was confused because it was Emma’s favorite café, and she never refused to go there. He knew something was wrong and Emma was hiding something, but he didn’t ask her at that moment as it was not the right time to ask her. However, later when he came back home, he knew he had got some new dots connected. The next day, he called Mark, the current owner of the Lamborghini, and asked him to come to his house tomorrow, to which Mark agreed.
The next day, Mark arrived. Alex welcomed him, and they both sat on his couch while Emma was making her coffee in the kitchen. She came a couple of minutes later, and as Mark saw Emma, he said, “Yes, it was her.”
Alex screamed, “EMMA, WAS THAT YOU!” Emma was shocked by his reaction, but she knew that she couldn’t hide it for long now, so she told Alex, “I didn’t kill Nadal. I would tell you the whole story, but first, calm down.”
Alex sat and drank some water and asked, “But Emma, who’s the culprit then?”
Emma said, “I know, but when Nadal’s accident happened, I was at my parents’ house, and my best friend had my car as she borrowed it for that night. But later, I got to know that on that night, she got drunk and had a gun with her. She found that Nadal was also driving on the same highway as she oversped, hit his car from behind, and came forward and shot him.”
Alex said, “But why would that person do that to him?”
As she went forward, she told him, “She was his ex-girlfriend. Nadal dumped her for another girl, and now she wanted to take revenge, and she did so.”
“But Emma, why didn’t you tell me this earlier?” Alex asked.
Emma said, “I was bound, Alex. She told me that if I told this to you, the same thing would happen to me.”
Alex asked, “But Emma, tell me, who was she?”
Emma replied, “It was Nia.”
“NIA!” Alex said aggressively while trying to suppress his emotions.
He planned to take legal revenge for the loss of their friend. They planned how they could get her arrested. On Sunday evening, they went to Nia’s house for a friends’ get-together. After an hour, the door got knocked, and it was the police. Nia was shocked, but later that evening, the police found the gun used for killing Nadal and confiscated it. Later that week, she was found guilty, and now Nia was behind bars.
To celebrate this achievement, they took a photocopy of the chargesheet with a few bouquets and went to Nadal’s grave. They kept it on his grave, marking the end of Nadal’s story.
