If We Were Kids Again

Imagine if we were kids again
Spending time with friends and taxes were not a pain
Getting beaten by our mother after getting a stain
And homework was such a strain
Hope we could be kids again

With a blink of an eye our childhood
It was gone, gone forever
But little did we know we are adults
Struggling with taxes and paying bills
Its not fun taxes feel like a gun

Leave that do you remember that
What if we were kids again?
Sleeping with the stress of homework
And waking up to meet new friends in the new grade
But with a blink of eye it fade,
Fades away in the time
